Jessica Taylor Castile

 

 

Jessi’s family and friends started this memorial fund in order to provide a scholarship for tuition assistance to a student enrolled in the UMSL School of Nursing program. Our goal is to remember Jessi through helping others that share her same dream of becoming a nurse.

Jessi was a daughter, sister, loved-one, friend, dog-mom, student, along with so many other things. She was enrolled in UMSL School of Nursing and was on track to graduate from University of Missouri – St. Louis (UMSL) in 2021. It was always her dream to become a nurse, and it was so fitting as it was her natural-born instinct to take care of those around her. Whether those in her life were sick, going through a difficult time, needed an extra hand – Jessi was always there with a smile on her face. More recently, Jessi had talked about becoming a neonatal nurse and had started shadowing nurses in the field. There was always a light in her eyes when Jessi talked about her future as a nurse or her experiences she had while in nursing school.
